The city was incorporated in 1990 and in a small area is home to over 27,000 according to the 2010 census and surrounding the SeaTac International Airport. In recent years, SeaTac has improved International Boulevard, built a community center. Angle Lake, Bow Lake, McMicken and Riverton are the four communities in this city. An interesting fact about Angle Lake is that there were 2 canoes found at the bottom of the lake that date back 300 years to possibly the Duwamish or Muckleshoot tribe. Highline Botanical Garden is also an attraction not to be missed and if you are into watching BMX riders, check out the North Seatac Park.
