James Hagarty, Bellingham Buyer's Agent

Hi, I’m James. I’m a Washington State Real Estate Broker serving buyers and sellers throughout Whatcom and Skagit Counties. My passion is helping buyers, especially first time home buyers, through the process of real estate. I was born in Ireland, and raised in Delaware, where I lived when I happened to fall in love with a beautiful girl from British Columbia, Canada (my wife Amanda), now we live together in Bellingham, a city which I have also fallen in love with. Thanks for wanting to know more about me, I would love to learn more about you, so please contact me right away! 360-524-4688

— My Story After our first few years of marriage in Delaware, my wife Amanda convinced me to leave behind the snow and slush of the East Coast for beautiful Bellingham, Washington. We were immediately captivated by this community, and I realized we had found a place to call our home. In my free time I enjoy going for bike rides around Zuanich Point Park, supporting small businesses, local writers groups, and the board gaming community. I also love to make music, and read non-fiction and science fiction. If I’m not attending a reading at Village Books, you can find me playing board games at various gaming meetups around town, sometimes Rudy’s Pizza on Sunday night. As an introvert, I also like to stay in and snuggle with our cats, Beans and Cassie. My professional background is in direct sales and business ownership. Amanda and I ran the calendar kiosk in Bellis Fair mall for a few years. We did so well we won Calendar Store of the Year, beating 800+ other stores! We also own a “virtual” real estate business renting land in the online world called Second Life. I even wrote a book about it, which is currently tearing up the charts on Amazon. I enjoy the time freedom and financial freedom that comes from running my own businesses. Being in real estate full time allows me to enjoy life to fullest, while helping my clients achieve their dreams. Thank you for visiting my website, I look forward to serving your needs! James Hagarty
