We Love What We Do & Where We Do It!

We are thrilled to be AWARD recipients from the American Institute of Real Estate Professionals consistently since 2018 as one of TOP TEN agents in Washington for Exceptional and Outstanding Client Satisfaction.  Our Clients' experience is paramount to us, so we cannot thank our Clients enough for this prestigious award!

Teri first acquired her real estate license in 2002 where she was a top producing REALTOR® in Thurston County, Washington.  Later both Teri and Doug were top producing REALTORS® in Indian Wells, California.  Our past transactions are primarily luxury residential properties ranging in value from $500,000 to well over $1 million.

Teri is able to leverage many years of professional experience from Silicon Valley fortune 1000 companies (AT&T, NCR, and Sybase) where as vice president, she personally negotiated a multitude of business partnerships, sales and marketing campaigns.   Doug also comes from a professional background and has extensive building and remodeling experience as well.  This has been extremely beneficial to Clients preparing to place their home on the market and/or negotiating through inspections.

Life Before Real Estate...

Teri was raised on a cattle ranch and showed horses throughout WA State.  She graduated from Sequim High School in 1980 and went on to graduate from the University of Washington Foster's School of Business concentrating in Information Systems and Investment Finance.  She was then recruited into the technology field in Silicon Valley where she enjoyed a number of roles from engineering to sales to marketing to independent consulting.  She also briefly owned a vineyard in Napa and sold the merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes to Stags' Leap Winery.

Growing up, Doug's family owned a heating and air conditioning business where the Port Angeles transit station is located now.  Service to his community and country were Doug's calling.  He enlisted in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer (honorably discharged after 3 years tour of service).  In addition,  he retired from the Washington State Patrol after 25 years of service.  He also had his construction license and has remodeled or built many homes.

Why Sequim?

We were fortunate to grow up on the Olympic Peninsula and we have seen our area "evolve" from a small farming and logging community to the amazing place we get to call "home" today.  Conveniences such as Home Depot, Costco, etc. are on the far west end of our small town and yet, the main downtown area is lined with quaint shops, wine/coffee bars and restaurants. Thinking back to our younger years, it is a far cry from the single flashing traffic light and when Highway 101 was the main street through town...

The natural beauty is jaw dropping.  From the majestic Olympic Mountains to our south, to the Strait of Juan de Fuca with a backdrop of the Cascade Mountains to our north.  Outdoor enthusiasts love the multitude of hiking/biking trails, boating out of the John Wayne Marina in Sequim, and our Olympic Discovery Trail which when complete, will run from Port Townsend to the Pacific Ocean!

Did we mention the weather??  Sequim is called the "Blue Hole" by pilots because we are in the "rain shadow" of the Olympic Mountains meaning we see less rainfall than most northwest destinations and a lot more sunshine!
